Delete your JustSubly account.

You can delete your JustSubly account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it: directly inside the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed.

Delete from inside the app

Open JustSubly, go to the Profile tab, open Account, then Privacy and data rights, and choose Delete all my data. Confirm when asked. Your account and its data are erased permanently.

There is also Account deletion on the Account screen. That one only deactivates: you are signed out and your account is marked inactive, and signing back in picks up where you left off. Use Delete all my data when you want it gone for good.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my JustSubly account" from the email address your account is registered with. We will verify the request and delete the account, and we will confirm by reply once it is done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your posts, comments, stories, and messages, your playlists and uploaded audio files, your buddy connections and circle memberships, your listening history, streaks, and check ins, and your push notification token. Your seat in any accountability circle is released so someone else can join.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active JustSubly Pro subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it: manage or cancel the subscription in your app store subscription settings.

What we may keep

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it, such as moderation and safety records connected to reports, for the period described in our Privacy Policy. These records are kept only as long as required and are not used for anything else.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole JustSubly account to remove specific data. Inside the app you can delete any of your own posts and comments from their menus, remove your uploaded audio files and playlists from the Playlists tab, and change or remove profile details from the Profile tab. Deleted content is removed immediately.

For anything you cannot remove in the app, such as your listening history, email [email protected] from your account email and tell us which data you want deleted. We will verify the request, delete the data, and confirm by reply. The same legal retention limits described above apply.
